Substance misuse
training programme and
additional learning e-modules

These modules form the first part of the RCGP Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse - Part 1.

In order to complete and receive the Part 1 certificate you are required to attend a face-to-face event and complete the two e-learning modules:

Drug misuse: Harm Reduction

Drug misuse: Treatment Planning

Once you have completed and passed your e-learning modules you must send a copy of each e-module certificate (generated at the end of the module's completion) to Lorna Boothe at RCGP (SMUemodule@rcgp.org.uk) in order to receive the RCGP Part 1 completion certificate.

This e-module forms part of the RCGP Introductory Certificate in Sexual Health (ICSH) and provides an important introduction to this topic.
Please note that completing the e-module successfully will certify you for the e-module only, and in order to obtain the RCGP ICSH Certificate you must complete the e-module and attend a face-to-face training day

To find out when and where the face to face training days are taking place, and to download the registration form for them, please click on this link. Once you have completed the e-module, send your face to face training day registration form, along with your e-module pass certificate (generated by you at the end of the module's completion) to Janet Stephens at RCGP (tempsmu@rcgp.org.uk) to request a place on your chosen training day.
